This art auction features a variety of pieces from accomplished artists spanning over a century of works. Highlights include several Christopher G. Willett oil paintings such as a southwestern landscape and a NYC cityscape. Watercolors and prints appear from Lisa Muddiman Gray, Ann C. Marinelli with complementary seascapes and sea life subjects. A colorful cut-out painting on wood by Dan Shupe presents a woman's head within an image. Historic works surface as well including lithographs and prints from legendary Frederic Remington and N.C. Wyeth presented in rich hunting, prospecting and weather scenes. Unsigned pieces include a delicate pastel depicting young French girls with roses and a vigorous color pencil barnyard landscape. Groupings appear as well such as a set of 5 Currier & Ives lithographs portraying nostalgic themes of home, wilderness and seasons. Andrew Wyeth’s expressive realist vision comes through in 2 prints showcasing his iconic regionalist settings titled Big Room and Wolf Rivers.
