When the auction goes live, lots will be sold one at a time, in numerical order, by a live auctioneer who will be taking bids from multiple online bidding platforms, absentee and phone bids. During pre-bidding you are able to submit a max (maximum) bid. The bidding platform or our auction staff will bid on your behalf up to the maximum bid that you have entered. Once the auction goes live if you wish to increase your bid you will have to wait until that lot opens for bidding and enter any additional bids manually. Auction Description: This auction showcases an impressive collection of baseball cards, spanning from early 20th-century tobacco cards to modern classics. The highlight is an extensive selection of T206 tobacco cards (1909-1911), featuring baseball legends like Ty Cobb, Cy Young, and Walter Johnson. Notable rarities include variations and less common card backs. The collection extends to mid-century complete and partial sets, including a 1948 Bowman set with Stan Musial and Yogi Berra rookie cards. Cards from the 1950s through 1980s feature icons like Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Cal Ripken Jr. A 1979 Wayne Gretzky rookie card adds hockey appeal to the mix. Football enthusiasts will find early Topps issues from the 1960s and 1970s, starring players like Johnny Unitas and Joe Namath. Unique items such as 1940s-1950s Exhibit cards round out this comprehensive collection, offering a journey through baseball card history.
