45 Auto, 5" bbl, SN 2118260 (circa 1945) 25-1718 C&R. 98% dark gray parkerized finish shows thinning on crisp edges with a few small light scratches, good bore, left side of slide marked in 2 lines ITHACA GUN CO. INC. / ITHACA, N.Y., right side of frame marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911A1 US. ARMY. Left side of frame marked FJA (Frank J Atwood) at top front corner of grips, top of slide marked P, barrel is marked with a 7 in front of barrel link, link is marked on 1 side with a boxed C and a P on reverse, checkered plastic grips show light average handling with 1-7 rnd magazine.
