9mm Corto, 3 3/8" bbl, SN 2161AA (circa 1943) 26-1490 C&R. 80% blue finish shows general thinning with loss on all edges, and scattered freckles, good bore, the AA suffix was after the Italian Armistice in Sept 1943 after Italy surrendered to the allies, German forces occupied Northern Italy and took control of the Beretta factories (no waffanant proofs), plastic fiber grips show average handling with the right scale missing a round medallion, with 1-7 rnd magazine, and a photocopy of a letter stating the pistol was once owned by former Philadelphia Mayor/Police Commissioner Frank Rizzo.
