54, 21" bbl, SN 14694 (circa 1864) Antique. Heavy rust and oxidation, poor bore, 2-leaf rear sight, top of receiver marked in 2 lines BURNSIDES PATENT / MODEL OF 1864 over SN; most other markings are not legible; left side steel saddle ring and slide bar; barrel held via a single steel band and spring; strong lock holds half and full cock, woodstock and forearm show average handling with only a small stamped proof no the rear edge of the forearm and at the rear edge of the trigger guard tang. 13" LOP, heavy 8lb + trigger pull. Fair condition.
