.765 bore, 39 3/8" bbl, NSN. (circa 1780s-1840s) Antique. Cleaned to a silver-gray patina; poor bore; breech marked with 2 crown-over-crossed-scepter proofs, IO, and a faint RW? and small partial crown? Area around touchhole shows some light file marks, possibly indicating a reconversion from percussion back to flintlock, strong lock holds half and full cock, lock plate marked with a tulip/flower under flash pan, brass trigger guard and furniture, steel ramrod, woodstock with palm swell forearm shows average handling with numerous wormholes, dents, scratches, and a bruised area on the right side of forearm just forward of the palm swell, comes with a triangular socket bayonet with a 17 1/2" blade marked MAKIN with a crown 6 proof. No scabbard. 13 7/8" LOP, 4 1/2 lb trigger pull. Good condition.
