.767 bore, 39" bbl, NSN (circa 1839-1842), antique. Cleaned to gray/lt brown patina, fair bore, top of breech marked ENGLAND (there is other illegible partial characters before England). Most likely marked for export; rear of breech marked with illegible VP? and Crown P? proofs, strong lock hold half and full cock with lock plate marked LACY & CO very faint, brass trigger guard, butt plate, nose cap and ramrod pipes with a Lovell's patent spring catch for bayonet, woodstock shows average handling with some small cracks on right side of forearm at nose cap, small chips around lock plate edges, shallow dents and scratches, with a leather sling, and a socket bayonet with 18" triangular blade marked with crown over B3 proofs. No scabbard. 13 5/8" LOP, 7 1/2 lb trigger pull. Good condition.
