African forged iron bladed weapons, comprising a dagger with an openwork base, triangular brass collar, and leather-wrapped bulbous pommel; a broad spade-shaped blade with raised central ridges and a carved wood handle; a sickle-style weapon with projecting spurs and a wire-wrapped grip; a curved blade with incised herringbone borders and copper wire wrapping; and a broad double-edged spatulate blade with a turned wood handle.
