Brass belt cartridge box with lid stamped "B. KITTREDGE & CO GUN DEALERS CIN. OHIO PATENTED, JAN. 27, 1863 REISSUED, APL. 14, 63.". Box measures 4.5" (wide) x 3.5" (tall) and 2" (deep). Box in near mint condition with stamping light on cover. Brass exhibits some toning. These boxes have long been associated with Henry rifles and Wesson carbines to carry bulk brass ammunition.
