American eagle-head saber (circa 1820-30) measuring 35.25" (blade 30") exhibiting an eagle head pommel with full brass backstrap, bone grip and "P" guard. Sword presents 1/2 blued blade with some decoration. Brass furniture exhibits pleasant toning. Saber is housed in leather scabbard that exhibits some dryness and slight surface loss.
