Hall carbine-Model 1836 in .64 cal with 23" round barrel. Top of breech stamped in 3 lines "J. H. HALL / U.S. / 1839". Rifle lacks serial number. Carbine metal surface exhibits remnants of original coloring with some mottling. Wood is in good condition and shows some light abrasions and digs. Carbine present integral bayonet.
