Archive of 127 nautical documents from the early to mid 19th century. Documents include shipping papers, customs house clearances, bills od lading, shipping inventories and others. Documents range in size from 8" x 7" up to 14" x 8" and are from various ports in the United States, South America and Europe. Some ships represented include the Brig Favorite (1803), Brig Milo (1819), Brig Hannah (1819), Ship Tonawanda (1855), Ship Tuscarora (1855) and others. Provenance: Charles Lekites Collection.
