Autograph of Robert Morris, Jr. (1734-1806) Financier, Colonial politician and signer of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution. Autograph of Morris on stock certificate for 4 shares of the North American Land Company dated March 16, 1795 issued to Bird Savage & Bird of London to date from February 20, 1795. Certificate signed by Morris as president of the North American Land Company and by James Marshall (1764 -1848) American lawyer, Revolutionary War soldier and son-in law of Robert Morris, as secretary. Document measures 9.75" x 12" and exhibits some toning. Provenance: Charles Lekites Collection.
