13" All original 1880's-90's HERTWIG "1" CHINA shoulder head doll. Ethnic features with molded hair, painted eyes/mouth. Dark brown cloth body with glazed china lower arms and legs, black molded boots. Wonderful cotton clothing - brown/tan plaid apron. Blue/tan plaid dress with eyelet collar. Brown/tan striped petticoat. Ivory teddy and pantaloons. She has a cotton handkerchief in her apron pocket with a 1 1/2" black all bisque Kewpie doll. Japan. Condition: nothing observed. Comment: This is an uncommon doll and HARD TO FIND.
